Amy Bagwell

Amy Bagwell is a poet and fiction writer from Georgia living in North Carolina to catch some rest after five years in Brooklyn. She aims to tell distilled stories in her poems, whose elements are boiled and boiled down to get at the absolute value of things. Believing that poetry, as visual art, should be available for viewing, reading, and returning to, she frames her poems variously for exhibit in galleries and other spaces. She has shown with the Fay Gold Gallery in Atlanta, the Atlanta Arts Festival, the Suil Gallery in Athens, GA, and Brooklyn's Lilypad. Amy is currently working on a novel about, or not about, plagiarism.
