Serge J-F. Levy

Serge J-F. Levy, found his beginnings in editorial photography and since has focused on fine art photography. His exhibitions include: The Leica Gallery (Tokyo), Gallery 339 (Philadelphia), The Museum of Biblical Arts (New York City), The Alice Austen House Museum (New York), and several group exhibitions in and around the New York City/Philadelphia area. He is on the faculty at the International Center of Photography in New York City and also guest lectures and teaches at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York. In 2006 Serge was awarded a fellowship by the Jentel Artist Residency Program in Sheridan, Wyoming (will attend 2007). Also, in 2006 Serge was a winner in The Magenta Foundation’s Emerging Photographer Contest. His photo-essays and feature photography have been commissioned and published in The New York Times Magazine, The London Sunday Times Magazine, Life Magazine and many other national and international publications.
